Touching the Untouchable Star

I have oftentimes referred to the clip of Whitey's Lindy Hoppers in Hellzapoppin' as "Lindy Hop's Untouchable Star." It is such a sensational display! Because of its degree of difficulty, for most of us, it is better to use it as inspiration than some kind of achievable benchmark.

That said, it takes a truly audacious person to try and touch that star. Even more for an entire ensemble to make the attempt.

This is that group. I was in tears watching this performance from Savoy Cup 2019. No, it doesn't somehow equal the original. Honestly, that's not what's important here. What matters is that coming anywhere close to touching the untouchable is an absolute marvel.
