Live music at all of our dances… one year later

Can you believe it's been nearly a full year since we re-opened for in-person events? That means we've had 1 WHOLE YEAR of live music at all of our main dances!

Speaking of live music..... we are fortunate to have a constructive and creative dialogue with our musicians. Everyone has been very receptive to feedback. They happily make adjustments to meet our dancing needs. In turn, we energize & give the bands inspiration as they watch us swing!

Seeing this symbiotic relationship develop is a beautiful thing. After all, this is how (historically speaking) these art forms developed in the first place. Yes, dancers influenced musicians & musicians influenced dancers. It's a conversation that wonderfully goes both ways.
